The Development and success of the FPS
Group over the last decade is a direct result of the enthusiasm,
drive, determination and foresight of the directors of Famous Freight
Forwarding Singapore, Mr Quincy Tan; Pacific Bridge Services Hong
Kong, Mr Benny Ling, Mr Patrick Lau and Mr Edmond Tong; and Leo
Transport Bangkok, Mr Kettivit Sitisoontornwong.
Their dream was to establish a global network comprising FPS companies
and forming a strategic alliance with first class companies prepared
to work under a unified banner for the common benefit of all.
To bring their dream to fruition, their recognise the need to work
with enthusiastic partners committed to building up their own business
and at the same time willing to embrace FPS Group concept. Commencing
with the establishment of Famous Pacific Shipping Australia in 1994,
and was soon followed by Famous Pacific Shipping offices in Korea,
Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, China, Japan, Malaysia, South
Africa, USA, Canada, Sri Lanka, New-Zealand, and Fiji.
On 1st April 2000 Pacific Bridge Services in Hong Kong, changed
their name to Famous Pacific Shipping (HK) Ltd. And there are now
20 locations worldwide under the FPS banner. The success of the
Group to date is testimony of the diligence, dedication, and commitment
of all FPS members, management and staff, in creating high standards
in customer service, which will set the pace in the forwarding industry
for years to come.
